in the mid -1980s a canadian entrepreneur purchased this site in the popular tourist area of redwood shores , California . gensler became involved with the project for reorganizing the area and converting it into the centrum business park .

today , 11 years later , the final phase of the project is being brought to a conclusion . whith six office buildings , coverin a total area of 1.6 million m2 (17.2 million ft ) , a conference and press center gymnasium , and four parking lots , the site has recently been converted into the headquarters of the oracle corporation , a leading software producer . the firs building to be developed on the campus was the ” access”structure , which now accommodates the oracle executive offices. ‏امروز يعني 11 سال بعد ، دوره پاياني اين پروچه در حال نتيجه رسيدن است با پنچ ساختمان اداري كه كل محوطه آن 6/1 ميليون متر مكعب‏ (17/2 million ft2‏ ‏) است و داراي يك مركز مطبوعات و سالن كنفراس ، باشگاه ورزشي و چهار پاركينگ است ، اين محوطه اخيراً به چهار اداره مركزي شركت Oracle‏ ‏–‏ توليد كننده بنام نرم افزار ‏–‏ تبديل شده است . اولين ساختمان گسترش داده شده و يك محوطه اي كه ساختاري access‏ دارد كه در حال حاضر با دفاتر اجرايي شركت Oracle‏ ‏منطبق است ‏.
‏از نظر معماري ، اين طرح برپايه شكلهاي هندسي ساده است : يك آجر مستطيل شكل كه با دو آجر استوانه اي شكل محصور شده ، تصوير بسيار جالبي را نشان مي دهد .
with one single exception , the remaining office buildings are designed on the basisof a simple cylinder ,3.5m(11.5ft) in diameter ,which intersects with a rectangular block , forming a 45 angle . this sole exception is an office block which retains the cylindrical element of its neighbors but has a completely different curved shape ,giving contrast in the layout .

‏ساختمانهاي اداري باقيمانده بر پايه يك استوانه ساده به قطر 5/3 متر ( 5/11 فوت ) طراحي شدند كه با آجر مستطيل شكل به دو نيم تقسيم مي شود و با زاويه 45 درجه فرم داده مي شوند .
‏آجر اداري است كه قسمت استوانه اي شكل اطرافش را نگه مي دارد اما شكل منحني كاملا متفاوتي دارد و تضادي در يك قالب نشان مي دهد .

aybold AG manufactures innovative , high quality machinery , focusing in particular on the production of prototypes. The headquarters building consists of a circular entrance in the north , from which point the route proceeds via an escalator above a light moquette floor occupying level +1 .

this gives access to all the functional areas : office levels +2 and +3 by means of regularly arranged vertical access elements : and the laboratory and production areas via communicating passages and stairways descending to level 0 , wich also accommodates the product reception and dispatch areas.
